Still headquartered in Moline more than 40 years after Peter McDermott started it, the construction company that bears his name continues to serve loyal customers throughout the Quad City Metro Area.
The last forty years have seen peaks and valleys for the Quad Cities construction industry, and more than a few builders have left the scene. McDermott Construction has survived and flourished thanks to Peter's ambitious work ethic and perseverance, his sense of fairness and, above all, the ongoing support of his loyal customers. MY NAME IS PETER
Peter is a Quad City Area native, born and raised in Moline, Illinois, with over 40 years of construction experience.
McDermott Construction began in 1978 when Peter set out to establish himself, starting with decks and other modest residential projects in the Moline area. A two-man operation at first, they called themselves "McDeck" and "The Decksperts." As his skills and business acumen matured, Peter's portfolio included increasingly impressive projects in the residential and commercial
